JUPITER AND TEQUESTA WATERWAYS-
Loxahatchee River - At Jupiter Inlet, as you go west of the Intracoastal and the railroad it becomes the Loxahatchee River with Jupiter sandbar, wide open waters and smaller forks. The North fork of the Loxahatchee Inlet allows access to the river flowing through Jonathan Dickinson State Park where you can see alligators and other local wildlife. This part of the river is popular for fishing, kayaking and canoeing.
Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) – The ICW jogs to the northeast as it crosses the Jupiter Inlet and becomes a channel between Jupiter Island and Tequesta.
